Yummy....Leftover Success!

1 onion, chopped and sautéed in 1/3 cup butter;
slice and add undercooked carrots from Sunday's crock pot roast;
combine 1/2 cup flour-1/2 tsp salt-1/4 tsp pepper-1/4 tsp paprika; stir into carrots and onion until blended. Stir in 2 and 1/2 cups chicken broth and 1/2 cup milk. Cook and stir until slightly thickened and bubbly. Stir in chopped up leftover turkey and undercooked potatoes from Sunday's crock pot roast. Keep warm. Stir up Sage Biscuits: 2 cups flour, 2 t. baking powder, 1 t. salt, 1 1/2 t. sage; work in 1/3 cup oil, and stir in up to 2/3 cups milk till all is moistened. Knead gently 8- 10 times, press into 8" round, cut into 6-8 wedges and place on top of turkey mixture. Bake, uncovered for 30 min. or until biscuits are browned!

Not only did this turn out pleasing to the eye and palate-- but
on his way in, Ron invited the neighbor for lunch! Love it when it works out like that! :)

Do you think it would work with cooked carrots/potatoes? Just kidding! I was cracking up when you specified that they were undercooked! ;) Your picture looks good enough to eat, though!!!
