Yesterday, Luke celebrated his first birthday as a Married Man!

Anna made a delicious white cake with chocolate frosting and even managed to get ALL the candles on it! An even bigger feat was lighting all those candles!

Luke made quick work of blowing them out and we all enjoyed cake and ice cream!

4th of July!

We celebrated Independence Day with a great group of friends and family! We had a wonderful day filled with good food, including fried chicken and an abundant amount of delicious dishes prepared by our guests! ... Yard games...bocce ball, bean bag toss, and volleyball....and then as night fell the men entertained us with an awesome display of fireworks

PUPPET THEATER!

We got the idea from 'Bend the Rules Sewing' book and Goodwill provided the perfect set of sheets. We made this for the little cousins out east as a late Christmas present!
